Today I was shocked when the teacher said that the assessment is today, because I am kind of not ready with the song. But then the teacher postpone the assessment to next week, and I am quite relief by the postpone of the postpone of the assessment. It's as usual, the class practice for the two song.

The assessment to play the romantic piece is coming soon, and I haven't even memorize half of the piece. It is some kind of hard to play the romantic sheet, both minuet and salute d'amour. Today, the class practice these two songs as usual. I need to practice more about these two songs because the assessment date is coming.

We practice again today for Minuet and Salute D'Amour. Both of songs is easy to play for guitar but it's hard for me to remember these notes and read notes in the music sheet. I think it's hard for the other to play these two songs, because after I see my friends play the song. Specially; flute and cello, it took long time for them to practice together.

Monday, 5-3-2012

Today, the class practice Salute D'Amour again, and now with flute. It even sounds better with flute. I make and improvement, now I could play some parts of the second page. The teacher gave us a new music sheet, minuet by Boccherini. It's hard to practice both, moreover I never practice Minuet before. But I will practice more in Salute D'Amour.

Today, the whole class practice to play Salute D'Amour as a group, it becomes sort of an orchestra with guitar, piano, violin, cello and flute. I could only perform the first page of the music sheet. The flute haven't practice the song yet, so she doesn't take part during the orchestra. I think the song sounds better when it is played by the whole class with different instruments. I need to practice more on this song because I only remember the first page of the song.

Today I need to submit the booklet about the romantic songs and modern 20th century music. I am pretty confidence about my booklet, the booklet conclude; history, changes, impact on society, style, etc. I need to fill in a piece of sheet for reflection after I'm done with the booklet. We start to practice the romantic song with the whole class, and it sounds nice when it played by different instruments. I need to practice more about this song, because I haven't really memorize the notes.

I was absent on Friday, because I need to make a new passport. Today, Me and my group are ready to present the presentation about Classical era and Romantic era. My group mates are Ronaldo, Hashfi, and Verena. Each of us have turns to speak, we also have some audio sample to make the audiences understand more. Because I was absent last week, I need to ask for the copies of the romantic song I missed last week. And i need to practice that song at home.
